WEAR-ABOUTS is part of the wider concept, addressing different European regions and having thus a transnational approach (targeting several neighboring countries).
WEAR-ABOUTS first concept was created by Laetitia Barbu and Ruxandra Lupu joined her to develop the project with a co-creative perspective.
WEAR-ABOUTS projects are involving a series of partners from different countries throughout Europe whose backgrounds are very diverse.
One of these projects will take place in countries that are part of the European Baltic Sea macro-region. Tests and prototyping activities will take place in Finland, Sweden and Estonia, with our local partners, between June 2019 and May 2020.
The project is awarded and funded by the WORTH Partnership Project (EU COSME Programme).
WEAR-ABOUTS concept
WEAR-ABOUTS is a creative and digital project that promotes cultural and environmental education and awareness through culturally meaningful design clothes or accessories that ‘rethink’ the relationship between people and environments. The innovative breath of our concept lies in merging tradition and creativity with technology and a continuous research and development activity.
